I stopped autopay when I switched plans last month. I currently have a sizeable balance on account. Will this month's multiline payment be automatically deducted from that balance? Plan renews tomorrow, 1/11.

Yes, it should. Even with autopay still active (for the main line), there should not be any charge to whatever payment method you set in autopay if there is enough balance for it.

If your balance is sizeable, keep an eye on the balance expiration date. You do not want to lose any of it before you can use it all to pay for service. If the expiration date is approaching you may want to refill to extend it.

I should have read the terms and conditions prior to making my inquiry:
"If you are on a monthly plan, including one that requires one payment for multiple months of service, the applicable plan charge will automatically be deducted from your account balance at the end of the day (11:59pm Central Time) on your plan's payment due date. "

I usually load $150-300 on my AT&T Prepaid account online for tax purposes (or if i'm in a state that does not charge sales tax, grab cards there)

I keep autopay on since my plan requires it to stay at $50/mo but i've never once been charged on my card for it as long as the balance is available.
