Bricked my gt s5830i - help please

I have bricked my GT-s5830i trying to upgrade its Android version.

I did this because of the apps I use for my work were out of date and would not work with its version.

I have tried to follow so many methods shown on youtube etc without success as most of the software they suggest are no longer available.

Currently since the brick, my pc will not see the phone, yet if I start my pc with the phone plugged in and ready to reboot in recovery. The device manager will see certain items, but as it reboots back to the Samsung Logo nothing is seen of the items.

I have tried Odin, but that will not find any device to connect to.

I have tried installing software on the sd card which the phone will load from. But unless the versions of software are different from the different video's of how to unbrick your gt s5830i. It remains at its Samsung Logo.

Anyone got any written procedures with links to current software to unbrick the phone not having any link between the PC and Phone.

    Thanks.

When I looked up that phone model online, it appears to have been released in 2011 and originally shipped with Android 2.2. I am surprised you could still use it prior to the bricking problem. Might be time to consider a newer model and retire the old one.
    Just another day in paradise.....

    Thanks.
I did get it up to Android 4.
Then tried to be clever to go better than Gingerbread.
    Then bricked it

A 10 year old phone! LOL! Good luck with that, even XDA won't help. It's just too damn old!
