Walmart Family Mobile phones locked to Walmart Family Mobile?

Are Walmart Family Mobile phones locked to Walmart Family Mobile, or could I purchase a phone for the Walmart Family Mobile system and use a T-Mobile sim without having to unlock phone?

No first-hand experience, but I would assume it's locked at least to the Tracfone family of brands.

The ones at the top of this page: https://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/

since Walmart family mobile phones are owned by tracfone, they follow the same unlocking procedure as with other tracfone brands - https://www.quora.com/How-do-I-unloc...or-ATT-service

For several years WFM phones have been locked to WFM.

I have had some luck flashing TMobile firmware on those phones and using TMo SIM cards, but it is a crap shoot as more of them are coming with a bootloader that is difficult to unlock.
