    Question about auto refill

I have the $12 monthly plan and I purchase the PIN at my local store. It costs me $12.75 with taxes. How much would it cost if I were to do the auto refill? What additional fees are added to the $10?

It depends on your home address.

Depends on where you live. For example, My $10 autopay with Page Plus amounts to $10,51 ; if I buy $10 in airtime at my local Target, the total is $10.92 ; in Los Angeles county, this amount can be as much as $11.12, (BTW no state sales tax in Ca)

Furthermore, the fees in California have two sources. The (state) Francise Tax Boad (think Cal State Income Tax) collects one fee statewide for the state and collects additional francise taxes on behalf of cities and counties. On top of this, The FTB negotiates with "tax agent companies" on behalf of compames with ho obvious California nexus.

The FTB web site explains ; if you're fluent in gibberish, you're golden.

    Regards, FJ

Now that you see what FJ pays for their location in CA, let us know what you find out about your location in MA.

    Thanks!

In addition to sales taxes there's also other fee's which can be state by state plus the e911 fee. Just another point of reference.
My $10 PayGo in Arizona plus Sales Tax .87, Federal Universal Service fee .08, Regulatory Cost Recovery fee .02, E911 fee .08 = $11.05.

On the other hand my mobile hotspot device has no sales tax in Arizona since they do not tax internet services. And there's also no Federal or Regulatory Recovery fees, nor E911 since it's a hotspot device. So nothing added to the plan amount.
