Thread: Tracfone line with 5gb data and unlim t/t just disappeared from my account?

    Tracfone line with 5gb data and unlim t/t just disappeared from my account?

    I have 4 lines on tracfone and the line with the largest allotment just stopped working. Service end date was 11/20/21... iPhone se is Dead.. can't text, no data, get the "your service appears to be inactive, please stay on the line to enable" message... When calling the number it says "the person you are calling has calling restrictions...".

    Upon checking the tracfone app the line is gone...not there..not even in history ...and ive got old phones dating back over 10 years on there...

    Any clues before I waste probably a day getting tossed into the robotic circle of their idiotic cs?

    I have a phone that I activated on 12/02/20. I haven't used it in about 62 days, All Balances went to 0 today. I was on chat and they said I would have to call the toll free number, she could not help me.
    I was just about to merge that line with another one in my account.

    When was the last time you used that line? TF will deactivate a smartphone without activities in 6 months, and a non-smartphone without activities in 12 months.

    I hope this has nothing to do with the 10k promo balances just going live..I'm about to do the same thing merging 4 into 2...this line was supposed to be the keeper..

    I just got my 10K promo balance for 2 lines this week. One of them I am keeping, use it to talk to my Dad, he is in an assisted living center. Got him some Bluetooth headphones, I can go to his window and talk with every afternoon. I can use the Promo Balance to add minutes to our phones.

    I activated a new line on 11/23/20 and got 10K points for it on 1/22/21. I just check it now and it's active with all balances intact.

    About these lines not working: Had the SIMs been swapped around?

    Sim in plastic bag in drawer, BYOP ATT sim in phone.

    I did 2 lines and my 20k is intact but lost 1/4 lines ...

    I mean maybe to test a phone being unlocked or not but not for more then a few minutes.. what are the implications?

    I popped another sim from line 4 into this phone and it works fine so it doesn't appear to be phone related although there is a major backstory...iphone is a total wireless phone using a tracfone sim...
