I wonder what's going on at TF... I got a new promo/sale to protect/insure a $100 bundle:

Maybe I should cancel my account all together... What happens if I remove/ delete the phone(s) listed on my account?

I don't think that would deactivate a phone?

I have been getting weekly emails as well as paper mail.
I thought that cancelling my account, they will not be tempted to annoy me with stupid ads/offers (when they don't see my account).

Most of my purchases in the last 2-3 years were bundles at the lowest cost from HSN, and none from TF directly with the high price.

if they look closely they will see that I never bought anything directly from them except for some Apple ( which I deactivated since, because I got tired of charging them daily - As a matter of fact, I never activated them, just stuck in a compatible active SIM.)
