    Nice review.

I would try every possible upstairs window location before giving up. Other nearby electronics can be signal killers as well.

Working great here. There is an odd bug in the Fastmile firmware though where it gets stuck on B12. I had to hard reset mine a few times before it steadily hung onto 5G.

T-Mobile: Magenta Amplified (airline employee plan)
AT$T: $50 Unlimited Elite Prepaid promo (for more “rural” areas)

Thanks! What about in the attic and does it have an antenna port? A nice log periodic would make it way better I'm sure.

I'm certainly not happy with my current provider, but my LTE signals are even weaker than yours here and NR is essentially not usable. My cable Internet provider has 150 down and 10 up for $90/mo. I've long wanted to drop it for something better, but no fiber here or any other notable competition (ADSL is a joke).

Edit: I ordered T-Mobile Home Internet service. It should be here by March 9th. I look forward to adding my review. There's no external antenna port, which is a bummer, but I will try it in my attic.

The TMo Home Internet gateway came earlier than I expected.

It was easy to set up but the lack of an antenna port seriously hobbles its capabilities. The claim that the antenna inside was 6x better may be off, but 10-20x better than a mobile phone antenna would be far preferable.

Right now, I'm using it with my booster, for which I do have a directional antenna in the attic.

As a result, the speeds are ok at around 25/25. W/o the booster, the speeds are in the 2-5Mbps range.

Hopefully, it will get better over time as TMo expands, especially NR. With the current results, I will see what else I can do to improve it. 25/25 might be livable for a 40/mo lower bill, but are hardly exciting speeds.

Signals inside our house are typically in the -113dB range (RSRP), without the booster, so there's plenty of room for improvement in TMo's coverage. For other numbers, RSRQ is around -15 and RSSNR is about 0.

When I feel better I might try using the discone on the roof.
