If it matters, I have a Verizon prepaid $50 loyalty plan.
I currently have a Samsung Galaxy A50 but I splurged on a Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW that I found on eBay. Will I need a new sim card since I'm moving from a 4G phone to a 5G one? I think my sim is a strictly 4G one cause I got it like two years ago when I bought a LG G7 Thin Q.
I just wanted to see if all the talk about 5G is worth all the hype. I live in Central Georgia near Macon, but I doubt Macon even fully has 5G.
I'm on Verizon Prepaid. When the Samsung Galaxy S10 was released in 2019, I got a Verizon branded one that came with a Verizon 4G Sim card.
This past January I got an unlocked Galaxy S21 when it was released. I moved the Sim card from my S10 to my unlocked S21. I am getting 5G on it and get it most of the time in the areas I frequent. Although I only have access to their Nationwide 5G which uses Dynamic Spectrum Sharing. I'm not paying to access their UWB 5G.
