    Question Password requirements

One of my email accounts got hacked and I am changing all 200 of my account passwords.

What are the requirements here on HowardForums?

This is NOT a real password, but sample of what I am using on ALL my emails. (Thanks to Bitwarden Password Manager).

    For example...

    THANKS, Mike

We don't have any specific password requirements. Just make it difficult to guess.

    FYI...
    [email protected][email protected]%gj (32 characters, no good)
    8EsnSW2wdwetjM7N$dLvZP68 (24 characters, no good)
    8EsnSW2wdwetjM7N$dLvZP6 (23 characters, no good)
    WBLnzBTWLXqvWjvo8ZisxWQGYLU482Xa (32 characters, WORKS!!)

I am guessing no special characters.

Or your password checker does not check for bad characters.

Length is more important than special characters and without them it is a lot easier to type in if for some reason you need to. On the other hand, I can't imagine why you need such a secure password for a forum--what private information are you afraid of losing if somehow someone guessed your password?

Use the KISS method (Keep it simple, stupid) when creating a password. 6 characters works just fine for me. Forgive the expression, no insult intended.
    Just another day in paradise.....
