Test Drive Kit - modes and bands?

I just got the TMO Hostspot HS1 Testdrive Kit in the mail (through https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/test-drive), and am going to activate it shortly, but wanted to ask if anyone knew:

    - What bands it supports? (Minimally band 71, probably 2, 4, and 26 as well?)
    - Does it support 5G (DSS)?

What about it supporting band 41?

The device does not have activity lights related to 5G modes nor does any of the documentation mention it, so my guess is that it does not support it.

    My device shows versions:

    Date: 01/20/2021
    S/W: TMOHS1_0.04.18
    H/W: 89527_1_11

    If that helps any.....

    Thanks!

If it is the Franklin T9, it is LTE and 3G only, no 5G.

    According to the T-Mo specs it has LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 25, 25, 41, 66, 71

    https://www.t-mobile.com/support/dev...mobile-hotspot

This is better than the previous free hotspot - Coolpad Surf. The T9 has band 41.

    T-Mo does not use DSS.

Is T-Mo putting LTE on band 41? I know they devoted most of band 71 to 5G.

Yes, but like B71 they are using much of it for 5G.

This is a new one, maybe replacing the T9s for Test Drive and simply branded as T-Mobile (seems to be made by Wintek):

    https://www.t-mobile.com/support/dev...mobile-hotspot

    The specs say it has these LTE bands: 2, 4, 5, 12, 25, 26, 41, 66, 71
