Make sure you have location turned on. Android 8 and up require location for those apps to work.
I have a Pixel 4a 5G from Xfinity Mobile (on Android 11). Both the Network Cell Info and Network Signal Info Pro apps will not show any signal data, even where reception is strong. They both say updated for 5G, but I cannot get any LTE info, either. The apps have always worked fine on all my other phones, including a Samsung A71 5G (also on Android 11).
Has any one else had or heard of any problems with these apps or phone?

Thanks for repying. I had tried with location on, no go. I think the location is mainly for the map to point to the tower location, anyway. On other phones, the apps still show signal strength and band with location off.
The issue has mysteriously resolved itself. When I started a 3rd app (Signal Check Pro), and gave it its permissions (including location), not only did that one work, but the others started working, as well (the others did already have location permission.)
