I looked at my Tracfone account today and noticed an inactive account that wasn't there previously. I don't know why or where that came from. I've only had one device (Samsung Galaxy S9) on Tracfone for the past couple of years. The inactive device is titled "Default_Old" with my current phone's 15 digit SIM card number. It also says "Last Day of Service" 04/03/2021 with an Activate button. The only thing I did to my account recently was added airtime to my phone on Friday, 04/02/2021. My active Samsung Galaxy S9 account has always had a service end date in 2027. My phone is working normally. All calls/texts are sent/received and data is working.
Also, my talk and text balances haven't updated since October 2020. I will occasionally add additional talk minutes because I don't want to be in the middle of an important conversation and my call drops. So, could this be a case of Tracfone tinkering with my account to fix that issue or something else?

Ok, well, I guess it's just because I added regular airtime.I've never redeemed any reward points.
It's a fraud scheme.
Every time they do the deactivate/reactivate, it ups their activation count.
It seems to be done randomly to hide it better.
I have two lines. They are basically twins. One got the mess-up treatment. The history had four Updates added for good measure that had no descriptions, all on the same date.
So basic TF genius.
