What is the cheapest phone compatible with T-Mobile (to be used as GPS)?

I am looking for T-Mobile compatible phone (VoLTE, LTE Bands 2,4,12,66) that will be used as GPS with Waze/Google Maps.

Used Moto E4/E5 (T-Mobile or T-Mobile compatible in working condition) start from $60 on Ebay and I would like to get cheaper option, if possible.

My experience with cheap and old phones has been that they do not work reliably for GPS nav.

I have a Moto E5 that works well for GPS nav. It is otherwise retired from daily use.

The Moto E4 XT1768 still works fine for navigation.

But finding one for a good price, and one that's REALLY a fully factory unlocked XT1768, appears to be a challenge, at least on eBay!

I found Moto E5 Play (T-Mobile branded but unlocked) on Ebay for $40. Considering full support of all T-Mobile and AT&T LTE bands (1/2/3/4/5/ 7/8/12/13/17/25/26/66/71), it should be OK to be used as GPS Navigator (I use another Moto E5 Play as GPS and it works perfect).

Assuming AT&T does not block data SIMs (like Freedompop) from non-VoLTE phones, this phone will work as GPS even on AT&T after 02/2022 (for example, with Freedompop or Vegolink).

It is already little slow for Waze (my dad uses E4 XT1768 as Navigator). He is not going to replace it while it works, but this phone already slow when using Waze or HERE Maps.
