    Combining 2 Lines Question

I have a quick question about combining lines.

Combining data/text/voice balances is straightforward, and there's no question about that.

But how is combining service time supposed to work?

For example, if combining two lines:
Line 1 (KEEPING) Service End Date: 7/22/21
Line 2 (DEACTIVATING AFTER COMBINING) Service End Date: 6/28/22

What should the new service end date be for Line 1 after the lines are combined?

I've done this around 6 different times, and somehow I never paid detailed attention to what exactly happened.

THIS time, the service end date for Line 1 ended up being 7/20/22. Was this correct?

    Thanks!

The remaining service days of the donor phone should be added to the receiving phone. You'll probably gain 1 extra day because the reps always added 1 day when making adjustments to my balances (like when they restored some data that disappeared). When did you do the combining?

There were 363 days left on the donor phone (6/30/21 to 6/28/22) when it was deactivated yesterday. Adding 363 to the original 7/22/21 exp date on the receiving phone extended it to 7/20/22. You didn't get the extra day, probably because there was an adjustment to the exp date itself.

Thanks for the explanation. I was failing to grasp how it worked. Thanks again!
