    Requesting better service area specific.

We just moved and our new house barely gets any service. When we leave our house, we only have one bar outside. I have made several failed attempts by reporting to Verizon. They say there are towers by my house. I am in a dead zone between two towers. Any other route I can take to get better service or request an mm wave in the area to boost service.

Sadly if your in a dead zone only option is to switch carriers.

Mmwave is for speed not distance. Mmwave is short range

I use my wifi calling at the moment but would like to be able to use the Verizon towers I pay in the event my wifi goes out.

Verizon won't build a tower just for one customer with poor service, especially if there are already 2 towers nearby. It might be possible that they could try pointing the radio panels to offer better coverage for you. That would have to be evaluated by network engineer and not a customer service representative. You should ask customer service to file a network troubleshooting ticket on your behalf first.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, if they are unable/unwilling to assist it might be time to look for another carrier who can offer better coverage. Unfortunately, no matter how much you pay for your cellular service, coverage is NEVER guaranteed by any carrier.
    Just another day in paradise.....

Another thought might be looking at the weboost boosters. One of those with an antenna on the roof might help greatly.

They even still make those? Seems like with WiFi calling etc. kinda makes those obsolete.

Funny though it needs to use “high speed internet connection” so really what’s the point when we have WiFi calling. Seems like the only point would be I guess if a person has an older flip phone or something.

All of this is VoIP, so Internet speed is important for good 2-way voice. Friend of mine has such a device, and his signal going out (upload) is lousy because of poor Internet speed. I agree with Verizon's minimum of at least 10 Mbps.

Well right but what’s funny is getting a device to essentially do what WiFi calling does already.

True i guess back in the day vzw didn't have wifi calling

But this may also boost signal in certain rooms or parts of the house with low wifi signal etc ..

I remember a commercial office and my phone would auto connect to the extender as there was little or no signal in the building . I would see the extender signal instead of LTE
