    AT&T eSIM to Regular SIM

    Hi all,

Just got a new iPad Pro with 5G and it’s using an eSIM. I’d rather have a physical SIM card installed. If I take my iPad to a corporate store can I get a physical SIM for the iPad or will they refuse to give me one?

    Thanks for the help.

Yes, you can. Just make sure it’s the newest SIM card, though. It should have no orange in its color scheme. Here’s what an AT&T rep told me:

It will be labeled a UICC-I sim card
    9/10th digit wil say 33

UICC-I cards come in two IMSI ranges:
310-410 with an ICCID of 8901410x33yyyyyyyy
310-280 with an ICCID of 8901280x33yyyyyyyy
The two types of UICC-I cards can easily be distinguished from each other and from the UICC-H/UICC-G cards via their color scheme:
    310-410 UICC-I cards are two-tone gray/blue.
    310-280 UICC-I cards are two-tone white/blue.
So ymake sure it has a 33 as the 9th or 10th digit, that it is gray and blue, and that will be the propery card for you

    Thanks! Sounds easy enough.
