Yeah, it changed after the new and improved billing mgmt system change; you'll have to dial #BAL#.
Dial #WEB# to get your data usage - but it's now only a paltry report compared to previously.

I would rely on T-Mobile texting me to let me know when payment was due to keep things going.
Over the past 3 months or so, that seems to have stopped.
Is this a new development for all T-Mobile prepaid, or do I need to set a knob in a setting somewhere to resume getting texts?
I doubt I'm blocking their texts.

I'm still receiving them on my phones, quite reliably.
T-Mobile customer since 2005.
I've received nothing from 456 since 11/5. No payment reminder, confirmation, or approaching, reaching data cap. OTOH, when I do reach my 5GB cap, I don't seem to be throttled. Today should be the last day of my month and my phone says I've used 49GB of data. So, a fair tradeoff from my perspective.
Seems like I received one last September, if memory serves. But that's before the platform change, right?
Correction: since 11/7
* But just now:
You've used 48.0129GB of T-Mobile data overall this month. If you exceed 50GB before your cycle resets on 02/08/2022, you may at times notice reduced speeds in areas with network congestion. Get more info and usage tips at t-mo.co/datausage15
😄
@SerialPort: prepaid
What should be happening is this:
If your plan renews tomorrow, for example, you should have received a text from 456 today, indicating that you have until 12:01 AM tomorrow, to add to your account balance, as well as a prior text from 456 on Sunday, reminding you to add to the balance.
If you are not receiving these texts, then you should contact Customer Service and find out why. My phones are on two different plans and both receive these texts each month.
