If it looks like and smells like SPAM, it probably is. Don't click on the link and don't respond to the message, no matter what you do. I wouldn't trust it.

I'm new to AT&T Prepaid, this text seems suspicious to me.

Just another day in paradise.....
I agree, thanks.

I was surprised that ATT is giving a 5GB hotspot bonus on their prepaid plans but that doesn't involve the recipient to go to some hidden link.
iPhone 12 Pro is my current phone I carry.
That link "appears" to go to att.com. If so, it is bad form in my opinion for ATT to be using a link shortener, since it makes it difficult to verify before following.
So even if it is valid, safest to follow the rule specified above, if it seems suspicious don't follow it.
Interesting to see the only search result I get when I put the sender's phone number "(562)584-2193" into Google:
Vwl Stema | 562-584 Phone Numbers | Norwalk, Californiahttp://vwl.stema.al › ...· Translate this page

The .al in vwl.stema.al is Albania.
^^ Some sort of phishing scam, probably.

I got it in two of my phones few days ago. I deleted them immediately.
They had all the red flags of a phishing scam:
No name of user, not received near to actual payment date, at&t has never sent confirmation of payment to prepaid accounts like this (wording is very different), sent from random-looking number, URL that doesn't address directly to at&t.
If those are legit, they did a poor job sending that message. I'd never click on something like that.
And those who did click on that, even if this one was legit, they are easy prey for scammers.
I just got another suspicious text, and the thing is that my July payment had just been processed.

I find it hard to believe AT&T is using a domain registered in The Netherlands for their rewards program.
It is a scam, AT&T does not have rewards for paying your bill on time. Use to receive these texts but no longer do. I believe it may have to do when AT&T got hacked at some point, number's were stolen by criminals and they are trying to scam people out of personal info.
