    Redpocket AT&T 5G

My XT2113-2 (Moto one 5G ace US retail) is not getting 5G on GSMA, only LTE. I read several reports that other XT2113-2 users do get 5G on GSMA but RP support insists only selected android devices get 5G on GSMA

Is this still the case? Why 5G on GSMA is limited to only Galaxy S20/S21 for android?

Are you sure the phone supports AT&T's 5g bands?

Maybe AT&T is reserving full capabilities only for phones that have AT&T firmware. My Moto One 5G Ace has 5G with TracFone AT&T, but that may be because the phone is AT&T-branded (an AT&T Prepaid phone).

My phone did also finally receive the Android 11 update, but I have read that people with the unlocked unbranded retail phones did not receive it yet.

Redpocket seems to advertise 5g for their AT&T and T-mobile services but not Verizon.

Can anyone on RP with a 5g phone confirm that they get any sort of 5g?

I just switched my family to Red Pocket GSMA after the Memorial Day weekend sale on iphones. I'm getting 5G on my Red Pocket locked iPhone SE.

If you dig a little further into their website, it seems like only select devices are supported on 5G

    https://help.redpocket.com/hc/en-us/...-Pocket-Mobile

5G on the Red Pocket Mobile GSMA Network

On the GSMA network, we support 5G compatible iPhones and some popular Android phones. We will provide an update as soon as 5G becomes available on GSMA for additional models. Compatible devices include:

    Apple iPhone 12
    Apple iPhone 12 Mini
    Apple iPhone 12 Pro
    Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max
    Apple iPhone 13
    Apple iPhone 13 Mini
    Apple iPhone 13 Pro
    Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max
    Apple iPhone SE (3rd generation)
    Samsung Galaxy S21 SE
    Samsung Galaxy S20 FE
    Samsung Galaxy S20 SE
    Samsung Galaxy Note 20 SE
You can still use your 5G compatible Android phone on our GSMA network (or any of our other networks) and receive a fast, high-speed internet connection. When 5G is supported for your device it will automatically be able to take advantage.

Remember: Our GSMA network is compatible with GSM unlocked phones and AT&T compatible phones.

I'm on Red pocket Verizon and I have 5g using a Motorola Ace 5g UW phone. It's not the UW or maybe not even C band though. But it seems faster than 4g

I get about 70-120 mbps on cricket/att (chicago area). Did a migration for someone on tmo to a s22 ultra. For giggles ran some speed tests, topped out at 40 mbps... on 5G!!!

Tmo 5g is way over rated, at least around here.

I'm on Red pocket Verizon in NYC, I got 40 megabytes(not megabits) per sec down and 3 mb up on my 5g on my latest informal speed test.

not uw and probably not c band. According to network signal, I was on band 2Name: Screenshot_20220628-122624.jpg

On the Network Signal Info app, where do you find the band information?

I never seem to find band info on my (free) Network Signal Info app. Is it only available on the paid version? Thanks!

(Or maybe it needs Location to be on, like I see in your screenshot. I usually have Location set to off.)
You can activate new service on Tracfone and get $80 by using my referral code (you get 8,000 rewards points - that's $80 in service or brand new phone!) You'll also get great karma! Not supposed to post referral codes out on the forum so please PM me for code. Thank you!

It's on the free Network Cell Info Lite version too. I did noticed on older OS versions it doesn't show the bands or else it's the phone. I know on my old LG on OS 6 it doesn't show. Also note on the newest version of Cell Info whether free or paid, you need location on. It's a pain because it can drain the battery faster.

So what is everyone else's results with 5g on Redpocket AT&T, T-mobile and Verizon? What speeds are you getting and on what bands?
