TracFone does not offer this, and it's rare to find this at all. The only plan I know that does this is https://www.keepgo.com/

I have an old Tracfone branded Samsung a10e which I have deactivated and use as a spare. I would like to purchase a data package only (no phone time or texts), with data that will not expire as long as I don't use it. I would use it in areas where no wi-fi is available. Does Tracfone or any other MVNO offer this? I am already aware of plans (such as Tracfone for $50/year) that have a monthly or annual charge to keep the phone active. Thanks!

(Short answer: $24/GB, but READ THE INFO ON THAT PAGE!)
That is an interesting option for very low usage devices!
I have a phone on Tello's 500MB per month data only plan. That's roughly $60 per year. The data rolls over if I renew early, so I'm getting 6GB for $60. But if I don't use more than a 1GB, this $24 plan is better.
Anybody have experience with keepgo?
I do not have experience with them, just read about them on Reddit (nocontract sub). There may be some discussion about them on the General Prepaid forum here, too. Other people have talked about Vegolink. A lot of these are designed for eSIM but some offer physical SIM too (the eSIM price I think is cheaper per GB).
TracFone service always has an expiration date, even though it does have unlimited rollover, until they screw up your account![]()
I will be Judged on how I helped the poor, sick & others in need; strangers & loved ones alike.
My plans:
Visible (Verizon) UTT & Unlimited Data $25/mo
Liberty Wireless (T-Mobile) UTT 09.06.22
T-Mobile Gold Rewards $10yr exp 01.03.23
Truphone (AT&T) every 180 days by 07.18.22
I recently purchased a couple of data only sims for international use. I purchased a Vegolink and a OneSim sim. Both worked. I was able to set both up here in the USA and use them in Europe. I will stick with Vegolink. Its data expires one year after last use, so I just need to use it more than once per year to keep it active. The price per Mb varies based on the country where it is used. Vegolink was much less expensive then One Sim.
Just came across this in another forum:
https://www.dentwireless.com/esim
don't know much about it but maybe someone who has, chime in.
Dent is esim only so wouldn't work for the ops phone. It's around $10 a gb if you pay. When I signed up they gave free 200mb, currently you can start with a free 1gb with a referral. It's also easy to get free data with their version of 'spin the wheel' or watching short videos. They let you share data with your other esim devices (Dent Teams). They are international travel sim based in Poland, so usually it makes apps and websites think you are over there.
If anybody is interested in trying Dent, PM me for a code good for an additional 1GB of 365 day data, for a total of 1.2GB, when you sign up.
