It sounds like Verizon Wireless is tired of losing customers to Spectrum/Xfinity Mobile since that would match what they offer on their unlimited plans. In addition Verizon Wireless does not have a hard data cap on their unlimited plans so that could make their starter plan attractive to cable users who use a lot of mobile data.Originally Posted by Jack Hagar

To be honest this isn't something that isn't going to stop me from switching to Spectrum Mobile once we can pay our phones off. They should have had this when Star first came out 3 years ago and then should have been increase in January like he other plans. Start also needs priority data. Even if it's only 10 GB. 2 lines on Spectrum Unlimited plus is $80 which includes taxes and fees. You get 30 GB, 5 GB hotpot and HD vids(that HD not SD ). Meanwhile Start is $131 for 2 lines plus taxes and fees. $51 saved for a superior plan. Standard unlimited is $60 for 2 lines. Basically, same as Start but less than half the price. Yes, it slows down to 1 Mbps after 20 GB but we don't even use that much

Thanks, I have a Galaxy, so I can use hotspot regardless. It'll be nice to have faster hotspot though. The rest of the family has iPhones, so this would be a welcome addition for sure. I'll keep an eye for it.

Not offered as of now. Just checked and it says you need to login to account to enable hotspot. I logged into my account and its the same as before. Feature wasn’t added. Not saying it isn’t true or not but it definitely is not available as of today on the Start Unlimited plan. Will check again in the future.

The original tweet was from a VERIZON PR person and confirmed by Verizon, And Vivian posted that it's gradual rollout over the next few days. yet here you are still questioning this

No it wasn't and Verizon themselves confirmed it. Yet here we are 5 days after it was supposed to be rolled out and nothing

UPDATE: So apparently you will get it starting your next billing cycle. Also you get access to the UWB network on hotspot. I'm kind of doubting that part, but if true is nice
