Clearway Business from Tracfone selling older iPhones for obscene prices

Um sorry TF, iPhone 6 and 7 won't get iOS 16........ Try another price to clear it out.

While they may not get the newest iOS update, they are still solid iPhones and still demand a premium price IMHO. Those phones will still work on their current iOS for at least a few years or more to come. Not like they won't work after iOS 16 is released. Next......
    Just another day in paradise.....

I beg to differ...... When I got my iPhone 6s in 2020 on Tracfone it was $89 new for the iPhone 6s. And on ST and other TF carriers the refurbed models were much more less than the new price. Now that i have my iPhone XR, I could care less about the older models but still... That is crazy. Just my opinion

Those prices might have made sense in late 2019, right after release of the iPhone 11. Clearway seems to be stuck in the past.

It's not uncommon when searching for obsolete phone and computer hardware to find stores selling it at list price. Presumably either they never update prices, or they target price insensitive corporate buyers who have specific needs for a particular device.
