New ATT activation?

Is it possible to activate a new, unactivated Tracfone Myflip2 (A406DL) that came with a Verizon SIM on ATT with a new ATT BYOP SIM?
If not, how about the same phone once unlocked after 60 days and deleted from the acct/Verizon that it was originally on?
The goal is to use a flip phone on ATT.

If TF still allows activation of a BYOP AT&T SIM, you can do it then use the SIM unofficially in a TF-branded phone. It doesn't matter whether or not the phone is unlocked by TF, its IMEI is still paired to its original TF/VZ SIM. Unlocking by TF allows the phone to be used with a non-TF SIM, but does not change how it behaves within TF system.

Is that Tracfone on the AT&T whitelist for use with AT&T service?
If Verizon believes you are in a Verizon service area they may all too soon begin forcing you to Verizon service.
You could activate it with the included Verizon SIM and unlock it after 60 days and take it elsewhere.
It must be with Verizon service to qualify to unlock.

Is that Tracfone on the AT&T whitelist for use with AT&T service?

The My Flip2 (A406DL) is on this AT&T Whitelist . That whitelist makes no sense, the TF-branded Samsung A50 (S506DL) is on the list, while the newer TF-branded A51 (S515DL) is not.

The goal is to use a flip phone on ATT.

I re-activated my (non-VZW) phone with a TracFone AT&T SIM last Tuesday.
YMMV. And I don't know how long it will last. Their goal is (understandably) to get everyone on VZW as soon as possible.
I would not count on TF giving you service on AT&T for very long.
I have a VZW phone on the way to switch to before they cut my AT&T off.

I don't know about the Tracfone Myflip2 (A406DL), but I ordered an unloaded AT&T-compatible SIM from the TracFone website a month ago and tried to activate it last week but it wouldn't work, and customer service told me today that this was because AT&T SIMs are no longer supported -- that they are moving people to Verizon. Then they connected me with their refund department.
That said, I didn't know about the separate corporate number that some people have still had success with regarding eBay plans and the like until this evening, so I can't speak to that possibility.

Several months ago I activated a new LG flip phone that came with a Verizon SIM and used a new ATT BYOP SIM. It worked but the other day I got the "bullying" message to change to VZ as mentioned in another thread.
