Just realized that I did not have voicemail setup on my latest phone, moto g pure. Tried setting it up, but was asked for my password. Did not realize they use the last 4 digits of your phone number to initially set it up. After several attempts, all I get now is person has not setup their voicemail yet.
I went on chat for over 45 minutes to no avail. They told me I would have to escalate the issue.
Anybody have any help?

Did you switch carrier? Changing the phone but staying with the same carrier doesn't require setting up your voicemail again.Originally Posted by kc classic

I had never set it up yet. I just put the minimum amount of airtime to get it unlocked, then switched sim cards.
I spent 45 minutes with a rep on the phone just now. Then she transferred me further up the chain. Have not heard back from them yet and probably won't.
The 611611 voicemail did not help in resetting a password that I did not have.
