Phone Deal on TracFone eBay store

Looking for a new phone for your PPC account? I ran across this deal on the Tracfone eBay store this morning:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/28481367418...IAAOSwdtxifre6

It's a Total Wireless Moto G Stylus 5G for $130! That is a pretty good price for a phone with these specs, especially the 5G part, if that's important. On that site, and others, this price is less than what you might encounter for the non-5G version of the same model in either the 2022 or 2021 models.

This one does still have a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. 128 GB storage; 4 GB RAM; 6.8" display. There are unlocked versions that improve on the storage and RAM, but for users on TracFone divisions this is a pretty good choice.

It's a summer 2021 model, so who knows, Motorola might be about to come out with a new 5G model in this series (since they appear to be shotgunning models into the market).

I've used (and currently am using) Total Wireless branded phones on Page Plus Cellular, so this one should work there, as well as TracFone itself and the other TF divisions that use the Verizon Wireless network (soon if not already to be all of them). It is locked comes with a SIM which can be used at all those places.

In the meantime, you could do worse.

Additional: Yes, there indeed is a 2022 model, but not yet available in the TF channels or HSN as far as I've seen.

BTW, I've been trying to find out how to discover the "XTxxx..." model numbers of this model as well as the non-5G version, and I can't seem to come up with anything. Not even on gsmarena, phonearena, etc.. I really like to have those specs available when dealing with all these Motorola models. Any help with that?

Just checked on PhoneScoop just for the 5G 2021 and 2022. Going to the FCC ID at the bottom of the spec page takes you to FCC docs. To much info for me to digest but it does show docs for the 2021 as XT2131-1,3,4 and DL.
For the 2022 XT2215-2,3,4 and DL. Didn't check the non-5G's. Hope that helps. Hears a link to the page with all G stylus' just click the one you want for the specs and then click the FCC ID at the bottom. https://www.phonescoop.com/search/re...=Moto+G+Stylus

Hey, that totally helps! PhoneScoop, then the FCC docs. I'd never have thought of that! Thanks for the link!

Results later: Wow, potentially lots to wade through there! Anyway, for anyone else reading along I found that the non-5G models are XT 2115 (for the 2021 model) and XT 2211 (for the 2022 model).

Both of the 2021 models' XT numbers seem to be around and in use on various websites, where as for the 2022 models it doesn't seem like anyone's aware of them. But then they're kind of new. I imagine by the time those models appear on HSN we'll see the numbers in the specs section.

I also use PhoneMore. But the only one there is I guess the pre 2021 or 2022. It's a XT2043. https://www.phonemore.com/specs/motorola/moto-g-stylus/
Usually on some phones PhoneMore lists all the model dash numbers and what carrier and country.
I've always expressed to people in the forums to focus on the model number not just the model name. And even with that, allot of due diligence and confirming since I've seen spec differences among the various sites that have specs. And also allot of ebay ads that just copy and past from a totally different model number.
