When I power up my iPhone at home I see:

Cisco is my home network but it does not auto-join.

I have auto-join enabled for Cisco.

Is there a setting that I am overlooking that will allow my iPhone SE to auto-join my home netowork?

iPhone SE 2nd gen does not automatically connect to known wifi

I had the same problem on my 13 pro and it kept asking for the password whenever I left home and came back. I tried everything I could think of. What finally fixed it was after I reconnected to my home Wi-Fi I chose to forget it which removes it from keychain. I then waited 5 minutes reset network settings again and added the network back and it has been fine ever since. I suspect it’s a software bug.

Just a thought. Try forgetting the Cisco network and re-entering the network name/passcode to see if that works.

Thanks to both of you. Yes, forgetting and reconnecting fixed it.

My 13 Pro does that with my home wifi if it's had a problem on it recently.

Usually when my provider (RCN) goes out for a bit, the iPhone just drops to cellular and doesnt bother until I manually connect to it again.
