Safelink renew eligibility confused - Can any veteran safelink customers help?

Got a text from safelink that says 15-DAY notice: Renew ur eligibilty to keep ur benefits... and lists a phone number and weblink.. Ive done both and it seems that USAC is supposed to send a barcoded form 90 days prior to anniversary date.. I havent gotten such a form and the safelink text says 15 day notice.. Can anyone with experience explain better or steer me in right direction.. From what i have read if you dont get the form- they automatically recertified you-- but Im not sure I just missed the form or what-- based on the safelink text....

If the text is worded like that it sounds sketchy. Are you sure it's actually from Safelink and not a phishing message?

They sent a one week notice just now.. checked my usps informed delivery emails back to April and I’ve got nothing like that letter..

SafeLink: 1-WEEK NOTICE: Return your letter to the Lifeline Program, visit my-sl.co or call 1-855-359-4299 with your application ID XXXXXXXXXX. STOP to End

Sign into your account on Safelink website. If you need to recertify it should tell you there.

If you have T-Mobile service in your area, just load another application with www.checklifeline.org and transfer your benefit to Assurance Wireless! Assurance will let you log into your account and see many details that none of the others will plus to boot Assurance Wireless recertification is automatic! You will get a new device and you might end up with one as a long battery life if they gift you the Motorola pure that a lot of people are getting!

    Did the text really say:
Renew ur eligibilty to keep ur benefits...
    ?

If it did as you spelled it, I would not respond to that message and only check your account with Safelink directly.
    Just another day in paradise.....

Tmobile doesn’t work at my house without a booster so this is a backup when power goes out and in emergency on the road situations…

Says nothing on their website when signed in other then the usual stuff.. service end date of 8/25/22 and mins data etc … called lifeline and they laughed and said call back if I get disconnected… sounds like this is a common issue yet no one here seems to have been affected…

If it says your service end date is 8/25/22 then you definitely need to recertify or your service will be disconnected.

I'm not due to recertify yet, but I went to my account and clicked on "Verify Your Recertification Status". This is what it says...

    Annual Recertification
SafeLink customers need to renew their eligibility for the LifeLine Program each year. The National Verifier will first try to confirm your eligibility automatically. You can also contact the LifeLine Support Center for questions regarding the recertification process by calling 1-800-234-9473 or by emailing [email protected].

Customers will have a 60-day window to successfully recertify their LifeLine benefit. Failure to self-certify during this time will result in automatic de-enrollment.

I called lifeline as the SafeLink text links and phone number ask for a barcode from a letter I was supposed to receive to do the recert (which I never got ).. lifeline said I'm good and don't need to recertify and if I do they would send the letter...sounds like they don't communicate well.. calling SafeLink yields roosters, chickens, and cs who don't seem to understand anything.

The National Verifier is probably confirming your eligibility automatically then. If it does that you won't need to do anything.

Yes, when calling Safelink or TracFone its like a crap shoot, you never know what you'll end up with.

It would be a scam if they used you're, as well. The correct word should be your.
