    s9 plus battery replacement advice.

I'm not up with times. Are aftermarket batteries just as good these days? Any advice on where to have it done? I live in Boston Massachusetts area. I called t-mobile service center and they said $250 to replace battery with a oem one. Should I try a place like Batteries Plus? I have another backup phone if I needed to send this one out somewhere if that is a better option.

That price seems to be far too high. I would expect anywhere between $50-$75 locally. No problem with Batteries Plus IMHO.

Make sure the problem is actually the battery. Do a factory reset on the phone and test it with just the firmware. I'm convinced the reason my wife's S20 only lasts 16 hours is all the apps she's loaded, particularly Facebook.

My wife and I replaced our S9+ battery for $70. The only thing that stopped working was the finger print sensor afterwards. It stays charged like a brand new phone again. We live in West Palm Beach and took it to Fort Lauderdale. It took most of the day because the shop was busy and had to wait for the parts.

It's an S9, it's likely the battery, as that battery is likely ~4yrs old and well over 1000 cycles by now.

OP BatteriesPlus or ubreakifix will be able to do it for ~$80, I know ubreakifix uses OEM samsung parts and will generally be sure the waterproofing is still in tact.
