Boost denies my iphones se 2020??

hey all
so i was get the new $25 plan and after i enter my iphones se 2020 ESN i get this message

"Your current phone is not eligible to switch to Boost."

my iphone isnt unlocked yet (12 more days) and wondering if that could be the issue?
but then i read that boost wont activate iphone se models but again i see them for sale at walmart and even boosts site...so im trying to fig out wtf is going on here..thanks!

what ios version does your iphone se 2020 have ?? it must have 15.4 ios version.

im on ios 15.5maybe i gotta go in the store? not sure it wont let me do it online...dumb question but does the phone have to be 5G?
im going guess that since the phone is still carrier lock maybe somehow boost can see that and know they cant activate it so they reject the ESN..guess ill have to wait the 2 weeks for it to get unlocked then try again

only for iPhone(since unlock status is on apple server not the device itself) the IMEI checker will query apple to check if the device has been unlocked.

once you iPhone is unlocked it should pass, might take a day or so though for the databases to sync with the updated status.
