Poor Verizon voice signal on Tracfone

I was having problems with my Verizon voice signal on Tracfone. After a very short time on a phone call, people couldn't hear me. So, I bought a slightly used Pixel 6 pro (BYOP), thinking a better phone would have a better signal. No luck there.

I live in a place where I can't install an outdoor antenna for a signal booster. So, I'm looking at Surecall EZ, but they are pretty expensive. Any other ideas?

If your home is the main problem, why not use Google Voice? We use GV for all of our outgoing calls and you save TF units also. Talk, text, picture messaging, voicemail. It's great.

Turn on WiFi calling and when the signal is poor it will use wifi calling.

Thats what I'm gonna have to do when TF makes me switch to a VZW sim.

Thanks...both good ideas. But I want to use my assigned TF number (not GV) for business purposes, My phone does not support wi-fi calling. I think TF intentionally limits wi-fi calling even though I believe they charge TF minutes for wi-fi calls.

Pixel 6 Pro should support wifi calling. You probably need to contact TF CS to have it provisioned.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A32 5G using BYOP TF/AT&T sim and a Moto G Stylus 2021 with a TF/VZW sim and wifi calling works on both. Also works on my iPhone XR running on AT&T or Verizon towers.

My husband and I live in an apartment complex an many people have to go outside for a clear signal with the exception of people who have Verizon.

He has an iPhone 13 Mini using ATT and Wifi calling has to be turned on in our apartment to get a clear signal but it works. So Wifi calling would work best for you if your phone supports it.

With today's Pixel system update on my Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6a (both BYOP), I was finally able to set up wi-fi calling on both phones.

Yeah when I activated my pixel 6a a few weeks ago, wifi calling did not work.

I joined the Pixel beta program that lets me experience all the fixes they are working on and after I enrolled, Wi-Fi calling started working immediately.

The update you got today was what also fixed it for me a few weeks ago before it was released to the public.

IIRC you can assign your business number to GV for a fee. Of course you would then have to deal with changing the number on your daily carry, and I'm not sure how to go about that

I have a friend that calls me on TracFone Verizon signal and their phone has an absolutely muffled conversation where you cannot understand them and they had to call back again for me to understand them!
This is TracFone taking away people's minutes from their phone and cost them more money! This is happening to you go ahead and report TracFone for their not so good service with the Verizon any longer!

TracFone wants you to report inconsistencies in their service where they can make their services better to their customers because the following link that you can go to will let you report what Verizon is letting TracFone Wireless get away with and enough is enough it's time to report them people!

Of course the link that I gave you has now been took down by moderators not to show the photo link where people will have a harder time to go to it and this is something that TracFone is wanting the moderators here to do:

Yup it has nothing to do with your friend having a bad phone or signal at their location. It's all TF's fault.
And darn the moderators that are on TF's payroll

Life is an experiment and yet true I get the bad actors to respond, take notes and report; shows everyone what TracFone Wireless and Verizon really stands for. Really in the end I get to see who really works for TracFone Wireless and hold them accountable.

By the way if you throw insults at TracFone's customers done wrong, it's a good way to get you reported here! Yet every thing I say here remains true I don't lie a lot of these posts do though by others! Honesty is key principal in life and just because I live by it don't mean that others never do!
