Best eSim Prepaid for Emergency Back-up Phone

Is it possible to get Tracfone or PagePlus Pay Go as eSim.

Or is a US Mobile custom plan with fees the cheapest one can get. (I wish USMobile didn’t have extra fees.)

Tracfone has eSIM, but I THINK only for iPhone 12 or newer. You'll want to verify exactly which iPhone models are currently supported.

OK, that will work. What are the steps to get a Paygo Plan setup? It seems like all I can see are plans with buckets of minutes and data. No paygo.

That's what any TF plan that ISN'T "unlimited" is. As long as the Service End Date doesn't pass without adding more "time", minutes/texts/data never expire until used.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/283448464240 for $48 is a decent option to get started.

But you'll need to research for yourself how eSIM works with TF, because I have no personal experience with TF eSIM.

https://www.howardforums.com/forumdi...Tracfone-Net10 is the primary TF forum on HoFo. It's possible someone there might have more info.

I actually tried that plan but the Verizon CDMA Sim was incompatible with my Phone.
Ok so just get the cheapest Tracfone plan and keep it refilled with whatever minutes I need on a regular basis. Got it!

Tracfone is actually working out for my purposes. I needed to get a physical SIM but will be moving to eSim today sometime.
