Suggestions To Fix "Not Registered On Network" Error

Posting on behalf of my brother.
He has a TracFone branded Samsung A03s with SafeLink service since July on a verizon sim. The phone is unlocked since he's past his 60 day unlock.

He has gotten the Not Registered on network message a couple of times now and has to try the list below to see if any of them fixes his phone.

    Name: Samsung A03s.jpe
Views: 281
Size: 12.8 KB

    He has tried:
    Toggle the Airplane Mode
    Re-insert the SIM
Force Stop and Clear the Data of SIM Toolkit
    Select Auto-Connect Network Mode
    Reset Network Settings
    Wipe System Cache
    Repair Software

Only 2 things I can tell him to do now is factory reset and contact SafeLink if symptom persists

Pretty sure his APN setting is: TRACFONE.VZWINTP

Anyone think of anything else to try?

You didn't mention it, but did he try to power off and back on? The APN should have no effect on the error he received, but worth checking for data issues.

Could be that the SIM card failed and is not registering on the network. If that is the issue, he will need a replacement SIM.

I think he needs help from SafeLink customer service.
    Just another day in paradise.....

There are two valid APNs: TRACFONE.VZWENTP (not TRACFONE.VZWINTP) or VZWINTERNET. If one doesn't work, try the other.

Yeah, he did the power off/on many times. If he calls SafeLink for a replacement SIM, will they activate the new SIM before sending it? If so, maybe he can do call forwarding to another phone while waiting on the new SIM. Unknown to me on this.

I was trying to remember what It was. I have an A03s also but it is on Walmart FreedomPop so I couldn't check it.
It is TRACFONE.VZWENTP APN and I'll have him try the other one and re-boot. Worth a shot.
    Thanks for your help!
