Revive inactive phone number using rewards

Does anyone know if I can use 2,000 rewards to revive an inactive phone?

My phone number expired on 11/6/2022 and I want to be able to use the number again.

Separate unrelated question: If I have a line that says "Service period ends: 11/10/2022" on Tracfone website, does anyone know what time on 11/10/2022 service ends?

You can't (re)activate a device by redeeming points. When redeeming points for a time plan, the Rewards system asks for a phone number to apply the plan to. But if the device is inactive, it has no phone number.

Service ends at midnight of the service end date. If the service end date is 11/10/2022, the phone quits working after 11:59pm 11/10/2022.

    thank you!

For your first point, I am on the redeem points page and my phone number that expired on 11/6/2022 shows up in the drop down. Does that mean I might be able to (re)activate the device?

I have a TF Samsung J3 Orbit that I deactivated a few months ago, I had the service balance of the Orbit phone added to some other active phone. I recently wanted to reactivate the Orbit. I used chat to add the inactive phone to my account. In my account it said inactive but also showed the phone number that it used to have. I used $$ and bought a $15 service card to activate it. It reactivated with the same phone number that it used to have. If I saw this again I might try to use Rewards points to see if I could activate it, since it showed a phone number.

Also, I expected to have the 30 service days from the $15 card. Upon reactivation it showed about 150 days of service. I had transferred the previous service days away (I don't recall how many) but it seems that about 120 service days were found somewhere. You never know what you will get from TF.

That had happened with other forum members, but the "windfall" service days and/or buckets can be taken away anytime by TF if they do an audit.
