Where to buy prepaid minutes now?

I've always used Callingmart.com to buy a PIN to load minutes onto my phone. Now they appear to be gone.

So now I'm looking for suggestions on where (online) to purchase minutes. My phone is AT&T prepaid. I'd like to find a vendor that has good discounts, and doesn't charge sales tax.

I've heard people suggest Target before, but I'd get charged tax for them since they have stores in my state.

Target, for some unknown reason, has never charged sales tax or fees that I've ever heard of, in any state. Been buying them for years. I bought a refill from Target.com just 3 days ago. No tax or fees. Put it in your cart and verify for yourself. Kroger online uses a different algorithm, in my case only a flat .55 e911 fee, no sales tax - yes, I live in a sales tax state. Suspect it's governed by prepaid telecomm statutes. CA, for instance, has a whole spreadsheet for various locales and rates for prepaid mobile telecomm fees.

Pinzoo works (pinzoo.com). Just check, for your carrier, whether it's a direct load to phone or if they deliver the PIN numbers online. With some carriers it's one, the other, or both. They do not email the numbers. No tax where I live (Mich.).

Target usually has a sale (5-10% mostly) every 3-4 weeks. Same with Kroger. There's a Target thread elsewhere on this forum. Someone usually posts a notice there.

What do they do for state taxes?

I had an RTR load go very badly with Callingmart. I would never use them again. Only PINs that I get and load myself for me.

No taxes for fees for a $10 PagePlus PIN. 44¢ taxes and fees for a $20 H2O PIN. I'm in Pennsylvania.

I just tried them now and found that they tack on an additional $1.99 convenience fee. People thought CM was bad for adding a $1 convenience fee, but it seems that other vendors are trying to outdo CM by doubling down on it.

Just a FYI, I used Callingmart on a $80 RTR Pageplus refill. Took about 15 minutes to get loaded just as in my past refills. Everything worked out fine.
