    AAL Value

So how much is an AAL worth?

It seems like a lot, if I read this correctly, especially for someone like me that needs data added every now and then.
I am seeing the option of redeeming 1,000 points for 1GB of data, and if a line adds 10k points, that means that one AAL would be equivalent to $100 in data.
With HSN phones at somewhere between $25 - $50, that seems like a great deal to me!

Am I reading this all correctly? How much do you value an AAL?

Depends on how much free stuff you need.

Look at the cost for each of the service plan selections in the link below. Take the number of points required to purchase it and multiply it by .01 and you get the retail price for that airtime. So each point is worth one cent. 10,000 AAL points x .01 = $100
Yeah, there are other ways to calculate it depending on what you want to purchase.

Basically, each point is worth 1 cent when redeeming for airtime or data. The points are worth more when reaching a certain amount and being redeemed for phone-discount code.

    6,000 pts = $50 code
    11,000 pts = $100 code
    14,000 pts = $150 code
    17,000 pts = $200 code
20,000 pts = $300 code (big jump in value)

Since per hpham's chart, you get $300 for 20,000 points, one could value a single AAL at $150.

An AAL is worth nothing until TF puts the 10,000 points into your rewards account as pending and after 61 days changes it from pending to available... and you can spend it before TF takes it away.

The phone promo codes expire in 2 months.

The other reward points should hang around as long as the account is active.

    From TF reward program T&C:

*You must remain an active TracFone customer to have access to the Program and any Points you accumulate.

*All Points you have earned will be forfeited if your TracFone Account is inactive for sixty (60) or more consecutive days. You may be eligible to keep your Points if you reactivate your Account within sixty (60) days following the forfeiture of your points.

*Your online Rewards Account will be maintained and monitored by TracFone to record your activity in the Program, including the amount of Points you have accumulated. TracFone has the right to monitor all Rewards Account activity. If your Rewards Account shows signs of fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity you may lose your Points and your Account may be suspended or terminated immediately.

(I actually was able to keep and accumulate more points in a TF account that had been inactive for 1.5 years but this is TF)
