$100 Android phone with camera almost as good as a Samsung S22?

So a Samsung S22 Ultra cost $1200. (Might be a little less now since the S23 is coming out.)
You can zoom in to see the numbers clearly on a person's wrist watch from across a 4 lane street.

What $100 Android phone (used/refurbed) that comes closest to that capability?

What features of a $1200 phone do you want to find in a $100 phone? I don't think you can find a 5g phone for that price.

if a superior camera is the feature, then maybe you really want a standalone digital point and shoot camera.

You can get basic 5G phones in the $100 range when they are on special/sale.

I don't think a $100 phone exists with camera quality and features of a S22. That's a bit much to ask.

Comparing a snapdragon 4xx, 5xx,6xx and 7xx phone to even a last generation or 2 8xx phone is not a fair comparison. Even if you could get last generation phone used and at a good price, battery issues and os levels might lead to bigger headaches. I mean the Pixel 4a or one plus 8 might be a good match but many complaints about its battery life make it hard to recommend you're not going to find it for cheap either.

For me, the minimum features that should be in all new phone is 5000 mah plus battery and 6 gig of ram plus atleast 64gb internal storage with the ability to add external storage. Having bands n71 and n77 might also help future proof it.

    Are there any contenders?

In a $100 phone closest will be VERY far away. I think you'll have spend around $500 to get close to a pretty current Samsung flagship.
I will be Judged on how I helped the poor, sick & others in need; strangers & loved ones alike.

    My plans:
Visible (Verizon) UTT & Unlimited Data $25/mo
    T-Mobile Gold Rewards $10yr exp 12.25.23

A very well respected tech YouTuber, MKBHD, did a very extensive blind smartphone camera survey and the Pixel 6A was in the top 3. It’s not $100 but it’s been on sale for around $300.

Your're going to have ti go with used phones to get what you want.

I just bought a gently used Pixel 4a 5g on eBay for $100 + tax. Great camera.

Yep, you can score a gem on Ebay if you're careful. Just picked up a gently used Samsung A52 5G for $95.00. Couldn't be happier (although 5E is just as good or better than NSA 5G) Great camera & way snappier than any of my Moto phones. Love that AMOLED screen too. . . .
