5G Moto Mod

I recently purchased the 5G Moto Mod for my Moto Z4 and can't get it to activate. My phone recognizes it and I get the prompts to install but when it get to "Connecting to network" it doesn't, it just shows it working. I've tried rebooting the phone and reinstalling the mod but no change. I took it to the Verizon store but no one there had seen it. I'm with Verizon and the Mod is for Verizon.

I've got a Samsung 5G phone for work so I know when I'm in a 5G area when trying to connect. Any ideas?

Is the Moto Z4 Verizon-branded? It will only work for a Verizon-branded phone. Also, it only adds MMwave, it doesn't have C-band or even any other 5G Nationwide bands, and it is most likely you do not have MMwave signals at your location.

Some of the Moto mods have a reset button on the bottom side of the mod. Not sure on that one.

The only button I've found on it is the battery indicator and the instructions are minimal. Basically connect it to your phone and follow the prompts. Thanks though!
