    Best method for transferring service.

Ok, my current service plan with tracfone expires on 1/29/23. I bought a new phone with 1 year of service on HSN. I need the best (read easiest) method to activate my new service and simultaneously transfer my leftover minutes/texts/data/rewards points to the new phone. And yes I do have the new phone in hand.

You can use Chat and ask the rep to ACTIVATE your HSN phone WITH A TRANSFER from your current phone. It's a very basic transaction and any rep should be capable of doing it. The rep probably will send a text with a 6-digit code to your current phone for you to read back. So have that phone turned on and ready.

Actually, your a good test case for us,
Since the AAL is only 500,
On you account page or app, go to activate line, follow prompts, when that is set up, go on chat and request to transfer mins/text/ and data from old to new.

The test is to see if you get the 500 points doing it yourself.

Of course, if the 500 points are important to you, then activate thru chat.

Just a thought. Can I just activate the new service on the “old” phone and retain my T/T/D and rewards? The new phone is the HSN Orbic flip phone bundle. Not a flip fan, just wanted the service.

Not sure what AAL is, but all my old minutes/talk/text/data/points came over to the new phone and combined with the new 1200 TTD. If I was supposed to get 500 reward points for doing it myself then I DID NOT get them. The Orbic flip really sucks! Will probably transfer back to the Moto G Pure. Should I wait a certain amount of time before I go back to the pure? And FYI the Orbic flip came unlocked and with no Tracfone branding in or out.

AAL= Add A Line, only applies to NEW line. Since you did a transfer from an existing line, no AAL points. Wait at least a day to transfer back, so the transactions will have different DATES. Easier for the reps to sort things out if something goes wrong.

AAL now only 500 reward points now, down from 10,000 in December, and 7,000 briefly up to a few days ago.

That party's over, RPs are now just nickel & dime other than new MyAccount referrals
