    I hadn't heard of http://www.alosim.com/ before.

Their listed prices don't seem especially great, but might be worth a try at 50% off.

Where did you see the lifetime credit (50% off) deal?

    Looks like this: https://stacksocial.com/sales/alosim...edit-25-for-50

It's a one-time 50% off credit for a "lifetime" eSIM... sounds vague to me.

"Your lifetime eSIM never expires, so it's yours forever and there are never any monthly charges."

Yes. I think you get $50 credit for $25.
You can use this credit to buy country specific plan? (10 days/5GB etc...).

I am just worried that company might go out business then no more lifetime credit.

The problem is, based on the info above, it doesn't sound like it's a continuing 50% off for future purchases.

Check out Keepgo. It seems like that's a better deal, especially if you value rollover. Keepgo eSIM balances are valid for a year, and any remaining balance rolls over to the next year, if you refill with a minimum of $3/year.

Thank you. Keepgo looks great, especially rollover.
I was interested in alosim as they have good price for Asian countries and $50 credit should never expires (am I wrong?).

I was wrong. Credit of $50 expires after 1 year. no life-time credit.

    Keepgo looks promising.

I haven't used them, but BNESIM offers eSIM data plans for individual countries and two regional packages (Europe, Asia) that never expire.

For the US, you can get 500MB of never-expiring data for $3.06. Network is AT&T.

    For Europe, 1GB is $3.77.

They also offer daily and monthly plans for less, e.g. 1GB for 1 month Europe is $2.46.

The advantage of KeepGo (which I also haven't used) seems to be that they offer service with multiple providers in some countries, depending on the plan you choose. BNESIM tends toward just one provider in each country, usually the one with the worst coverage/performance.

I just checked rates with alo and Keepgo and they look quite similar now, at least for western Europe. Yes. alo data expires after 30 days but it's a moot point for a one time use in a single trip.

Since both use eSIMs, has anyone had any experience any issues reusing the eSIM later on a different provider?

I also notice that for people visiting the U.S, the data rates are very good, even better that many local prepaid providers. I would be even tempted to use it myself here to get cheaper data than what many local prepaid plans offer (1GB at $4.50, 3GB at $11, 5GB at $16 and 10GB at $26), Any possible downside?

The downside could be latency, but unless you're using the data for VoIP, it might not be an issue.

Also sites see you as an international traveler. Banks etc won't allow access. Most distressing is I was locked out of Dunkin

I had used AirAlo eSIM in Europe (UK, Italy, Spain, Romania), on two phones (two people) - iPhone and Android. It worked reasonably well, as advertised. I think the "5G" was lit too often, even when the network performance was at LTE levels, but that might be how 5G is in Europe, IDK.
On Android the APN had to manually edited (annoying), on iPhone it took longer to connect the first time. I had the EU plan, eSIM installed in US (over WiFi), plan basically gets automatically activated once in EU.
