New phone shipped in white box

I ordered a phone as new, but it arrived in a white box like a reconditioned phone.
Has anyone else received a new phone like this?

I used Rewards Points coupon and ordered a Samsung A53 ($220) and a Moto G Power ($70). I think the Moto G Power is the 2022 model. It was not listed as Reconditioned on the website when I ordered. It has the plastic screen cover with Moto design like it might have in the retail box. No other plastic cling on the phone. It looks new otherwise. I'm ok with it, as long as the phone works ok.

The A53 is in a retail box as expected.

Can't recall if they followed up on it and what the outcome was.

The Orbic flips I got both came in white boxes... I haven't really checked them closely since I got them for the 1 year included plans.

Someone mentioned that the Orbic flips were likely originally branded as Verizon phones. So it's likely they were never in typical Tracfone retail store packaging. Could be the same way with the Moto G Power. Perhaps it was originally sold branded as a different sub-carrier, and TF is selling them now directly and repackaging them in the white box. If it had the screen cover with a Moto design on it, that's probably what happened.

Last few I bought were in a white box also. New normal.

I just bought two Moto G7 Pure with reward points and they were shipped in white boxes with charger but no car charger or snap on cover like the original phone I purchased a year or so back.
