Is My iphone Order Missing?

5 Days ago I ordered a refurb. iphone thru tracfone. I Never rcvd any notice from tracfone that the orderwent thru and I did not get a tracking #. However my credit card was charged. I want the phone but what should be the next step. I know tracfone customer service is terrible. Any suggestions for a next step to find out if it even shipped. Thanks for any help.

It's good to take a screenshot of the order confirmation page that has the order number since you can't always rely on TF to send the emails.


If you have the order number you can look up here with email:

If you don't have order number you may be able to retrieve it with email:

Otherwise you can call TF corp office and ask for order number and shipping status and tracking number if available:

Unfortunately that seems to be standard operating procedure lately.

Always make sure to screen shot your order so you have proof with your order number.

The order should show when you manually try to check the order status on TF's website.

Other than doing that ...

The only other way to know the order is actually moving along is getting a shipping notification from UPS (I have the free account).

Thanks for the help. I was not smart enough to get a screen shot and there is no tracking # anywhere. I guess that I will try the phone # tomorrow.

If they cannot find it by Friday, I suggest that you contact your credit card company to track it down with the shipper or the credit card company will do a chargeback to refund your money.

If you just ordered it on Friday, Jan 27th, I would give it a little longer than this Friday. Tracfone regularly does not send out any email confirmations nor do they provide order updates. If you entered your email at the link that tomseys provided and nothing came up, then don't be surprised if the CSR doesn't find the order based upon your email either.

On my first order, I also did not note the order# from the website and thought my order was lost. But it just arrived with no tracking info or any other info sent by TF. So just watch for the package, it should likely arrive within the next week.

I, like others, learned my lesson and have noted the order# on future orders... so now I can at least get the ever so insightful message: "Pending remote fulfillment" when I type in my order numbers!

If you do call, and you don't have order number, they may be able to look the order up by last four of credit card number used for order.

I was able to get a UPS shipping tracking number from the TF corp office a couple of times after providing my order number to the rep including with my last order received. But ymmv.

I ordered 2 iphones on 1/28. Received the email acknowledging the order the same day. Status still shows pending remote fulfillment. I'm hoping they are just running behind.

If you have UPS my choice they will show a package shipped on their dashboard to you even if you never receive tracking from the company. Plenty of times I get notification of a package coming from them or FedEx before the company notified me.
