Got the Pop-Up for a FREE Verizon Phone

My current phone has a TF AT&T Sim (TMFL). I got the Pop-Up for the FREE Verizon Phone so I called about it. The agent said I could get a free Moto G Pure, but he couldn't give me a model number. I asked about transferring my number, minutes, texts, data, and service days. He said I could transfer my number, but not the minutes. I don't want to lose my number, minutes, texts, data, and service days. I also am wondering if the Verizon Sim will have TMFL.

Keep going with whatever you have now. They are just trying to sweet-talk you into Verizon service so they don't have to keep paying AT&T for service. They are supposed to honor your service until next year, I believe.

There is only one Moto G Pure as far as I know, and it is no prize. Also, all of your account is supposed to transfer to the new sim just like any new phone. Today's sims don't have TMFL, but some of the time, the TMFL will transfer as a legacy.

Also, my personal opinion is that AT&T service is better quality, but YMMV.

Sometimes they offer to send only a free Verizon sim, but that has been fraught with malfunctions, so don't do that either.

Tell them you’ll take an iPhone 13, and double the service time.

I have to agree. Use it till you lose it and then upgrade your phone.

Also, any time your account gets attention, you run the risk of some malfunction to mess it up.

So it's always better to just stay as quiet as possible.

I have a BYOP TF/AT&T sim that I had been using in my unlocked Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, which is AT&T bands only. Using it for like a year with no free sim or phone offers.
Couple weeks ago I swapped the sim to my unlocked iPhone XR which can run on all carriers. Couple days ago got a text for the free phone offer.
I'm not accepting the free phone or free sim offer. Gonna wait it out as long as possible then I'll use a BYOP TF/VZW sim I have to switch the service to.

Just be forewarned...If you accept the free phone or sim and you don't switch to it within a month TF will do it for you. Happened to me on my spare TF branded phone. Problem was they didn't switch the service to the sim they sent me. TF switched it to a sim I didn't have in my possession. I caught it when I was checking my account. I had to do chat and have them transfer the service to a TF/VZW sim I had from a BYOP kit.
