Afaik there are no 3 yr old flagship phones under $200. Flagships are usually ~$900-$1200 new. After 3 yrs they are ~$450-$800.

I like cheap phones and I can not lie...
I currently have a Moto G Power 2020 and I'm shopping for a replacement. Most web reviews for sub-$200 phones say something like, "instead of buying a cheap new phone, you should buy an older flagship phone."
but all those websites also say, "OMG if your phone doesn't get security updates because it's too old, puppies will be killed and your grandmother's grave will be dug up!!!"
I can't jibe those 2 ideas... what 3-year-old flagship phone for under $200 is going to get security updates for 3 more years??
Thank you for your input and advice.

I will be Judged on how I helped the poor, sick & others in need; strangers & loved ones alike.
My plans:
Visible (Verizon) UTT & Unlimited Data $25/mo
T-Mobile Gold Rewards $10yr exp 12.25.23
That makes the whole thing even more confusing.
