i have the samsung a51 phone and i take lots of photos and every time i connect the phone to the pc a window opens that i assume is file explorer and then i get internal storage i click that and i get DCIM i click that and i get camera i click that and photos start to populate the field.
what i need of the them to populate so they are large icons and the last photos taken is the top photos. i do lots of photos for the repairs i do for people and i document these and they always seem to show the last on top and i have to wait for hundreds of photos to populate the field and then either scroll down to the last phots or go into the view and click large icons and then to sort order and click descending. i just cant get that app to stay in that setting.
so does anyone happen to know hot to force the icons to stay large and the newest phots to be the top photos? win10 can't help i do nto see anything in the a51 photo setting to force that the a51 assigns the photo a dated and number.
toms guide is not helping so maybe i may get lucky on this site i tried an app the win10 guys said would work and it will force the icons larger but then everything else is so tiny i need a scop to see them and it still will not put last photo taken as the first photo shown.
so has anyone figured this out yet? thanks

that does not work for me i tried that yesterday and it was a pain. it was easier to just scroll to the bottom and pick the photos the old way and for google. thanks

i tred google photos and it is far better to just click on large icons and then scroll down to see the new photos. i went into google and for me it was a task to get to what i needed. it seems this is an android thing and not the pc or win10 my older phones shoe the photos perfectly everytime. but is is a pain to carry 2 phones one for photos and one for the rest. thanks
