Can I Use The Verizon SIM Card From My Laptop Computer In A Tablet?

I have a laptop computer with a Verizon SIM card in it.

Can I put the Verizon SIM card in a tablet or smartphone or is it locked to the device?

There is no harm in trying.

Is it Data only or T&T ?

Is it a VZW branded / sold tablet ?

If DO likely not in a phone but tablets can be classified like PCs.

Do you have an active TTD plan activated on it?
Suggestion just throw $5 at Visible for a month & see if it works for you. Don't take anyone's word in place of your experience.

Visible by Verizon get $20 OFF! https://www.visible.com/get/36csHv Choose Bring my number or Shop phones. Use my friend code 36csHv during checkout for a $20 discount on the 1st Month.

Can I Use The Verizon SIM Card From My Laptop Computer In A Tablet?

This is a data only plan.

The tablet is an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro SM-T547U.

Based on the specifications at the Samsung USA site, the tablet does not have a cellular connection. If that is true, you cannot use a SIM from a phone in that tablet for a cellular connection (voice/data) and it will not support a SIM card (unless it supports eSIM). Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are clearly supported but those are not cellular. I personally use a Samsung Tab S7+ and it does not have those capabilities or a SIM slot but it might differ on your tablet.
    Just another day in paradise.....

Says LTE right there at the link provided, just select unlocked version not WiFi version

But as I said pretty sure not built for use on VZW so won't even be whitelisted

Remember that LTE is data only and not exactly the same as VOLTE which incorporates voice with data on a 4G connection. Not all devices that support LTE will have both, especially with a tablet.

I thought nothing but data service was being discussed here, data only plan, no T&T

Specification note 12 says: Supported carriers include: AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon.

Try it. I've used my phone SIM in a tablet and a tablet SIM in a phone with no issues. In fact, I have a T-Mobile prepaid data only SIM and it works fine in my S23 Ultra. If your SIM is provisioned for data only, texting and calling simply won't work if you use a phone.. This model does support all of the carriers LTE bands. Linked is the certified bands from the FCC:
