    Amazon gift card missing

I've been ordering $10 gift cards to recoup one of the months of service on the accounts I'm using for referral points. I've done it twice without issue, but the one I ordered Wednesday morning never showed. I got the order confirmation email with order number, waited 24 hours, then sent an email to the supposed support: [email protected]. Not anticipating a response at this point, so it will be on to a BBB complaint tomorrow afternoon.

Anyone else run into issues with eGift card deliveries?

It's always something with this company.

The Amazon GC is in the list of things to redeem points for. Looks like a minimum is 5000 points. If that's for a $10 GC, not a good rate.

It's a good rate to recoup the points from an account that was used purely for referral and it going to die. Pays back one month of the $10 plan essentially.

It all depends on one's needs. I have several accounts with 5000 points each. I use them to extend service time to get phones unlocked.

You use them for other accounts? And phone unlocks are automatic after 60 days, no active service needed once initially activated.

edit: so you're saying you swap in a new phone to an existing line with the points to activate initially and start the timer?

With new phones like i11 and A03s which don't come with required airtime, I transfer service from existing lines to them and they get unlocked after 60 days. I move a line to the account(s) with points when necessary.

Got it. I go the referral route for 7000 points on my main account and end up paying $20 for two months service, also with the phone getting unlocked. $60 for a $300 promo code.

I don't do the referral thing anymore, takes 3 referrals to earn 21,000 points for a $300 code. Too much hassle. With the old scale, 5 referrals got you 60,000 points for 3 x $300 code. I'm winding down my TF Rewards activities.

I sent another email to the [email protected] this morning and they did respond to that one by re-sending the email. I got the code within 15 minutes.
