    Text amount going down

I’m not sure why, but my amount of texts keeps going down. I check the app frequently and the number of texts I have keeps going down for some reason.

Does anyone know why this is? It’s going from 180 last week to now 117 currently. I barely send any texts. I have received some but not nearly enough for the number to go down that much. I am using an iPhone 7. Any ideas?

are you receiving texts that you don't look at, like spam or numbers you don't know? You get charged for texts even if you don't look at them.

Yep. If you blocked a sender/number, you won't see the texts but they're still deducted from the text bucket.

That’s what I figured they’re still trying to get through to Me. how do I unblock senders if I already deleted that message? I think what I have to do is reply stop when I get a message to cancel that text and stop receiving.

You might try looking through the Messages app's settings to see if there's a list of blocked numbers. Replying STOP sometimes can backfire by letting the sender know that there's a live recipient at that number and they will keep sending spam texts to it.

I use Textra on my phones for messaging and the blocked messages go on a list.

I usually find it's just easier to delete the messages than to bother putting them on a blocked list, especially since they frequently will use a different return or reply number each time.

Given that you have to pay for any received messages whether or not you open them, just ignoring them doesn't do any good. With Textra I think they say I won't have to look at the blocked messages but they'll still arrive.

I think I may have taken care of it for the time being. my texts have remained the same for a few days, I’ve been keeping track of texts I have sent/received

my question is can I still use bonus codes if I have an iPhone, and would I still be able to use those bonus codes if I have auto refill?

How did you finally fix it?
Suggestion just throw $5 at Visible for a month & see if it works for you. Don't take anyone's word in place of your experience.

Visible by Verizon get $20 OFF! https://www.visible.com/get/36csHv Choose Bring my number or Shop phones. Use my friend code 36csHv during checkout for a $20 discount on the 1st Month.

I will be Judged on how I helped the poor, sick & others in need; strangers & loved ones alike.

I unblocked the numbers I had blocked in settings, and replied stop when I got a text from them. I also turned off text notifications for sites that require two factor authentication.

I’m sure this has been around for a while, but i found out I can get 1000 texts for 5 dollars on the tracfone website.
