I've only owned Androids mainly because of the price, I'm considering getting an Iphone this next go-round.
I'm not sure where to start to compare and contrast them. The IOS store feels like the most enticing reason to get one, anything else to consider from someone that has owned both?
The last Android that I had was a Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G.
An Iphone 11 is somewhere in my price range, do you all think that it would be a good buy?
Any insight that you have would be helpful. Much appreciated.
Years ago my wife said she could hear much better through her friend's iPhone than she could on her Motorola. So I got her the 6S Plus and she's still using it. I'm using my son's hand-me-down iPhone SE 2nd generation and gave my SE 1st generation to my sister-in-law who is delighted with it. I used various Androids for years, but I've gone to the dark side and never looked back. The iPhone has a much longer lifespan than any Android. In fact I recently purchased a 6S on Bonanza and I plan to use it when I travel overseas. Of course, I don't care about 5G, so I don't need a newer model.
I'll give up my iPhone when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.

This fall be sure to get your pumpkin spice COVID-19 booster shot.
The older models lose support after awhile of operating system upgrades. You can look up which phones are still supported with the ios 17.0 coming out. Ios has more apps available than Android and many I use are better than their android versions.
If you want used, be very careful as there are fake iphones, poorly repaired or damaged iiphones ones that have been reported lost or stolen, and the like. Its hard to believe people actually fall for these scams.
Check the spec comparison on Apple website to see which model has the features you need. If you have money coming in, a new iphone is affordable on top of carrier fees you are already paying. $799 or $33.29 a month for 2 years assuming you can qualify for the base iphone 14 or check for promotions with the carriers themselves depending on your situation.

We are an Android family, except for my mom who reluctantly uses an iPhone after years of Android phones.
She says iphones are only good as a telephone with a good camera, while Androids are mini-computers.

iPhone may be an all in one entertainment device for many people but I also own an iPod Touch 7th Gen. I did this specifically to keep games off my phone. It also came in handy while my husband lost his phone and was waiting for the insurance replacement as he is addicted to crosswords.
