Can anyone recommend an LTE wireless home phone base to use with an AT&T MVNO? Thanks!
How about this one? https://www.amazon.com/ZTE-WF721-Wir.../dp/B00NX7B9EI
The WF721 won't work. It's a 3G device, doesn't do VoLTE, and isn't on AT&T's approved list.
See page 10 of this PDF link for approved home base devices which lists:
• AT&T Wireless Internet (IFWA-40)
• AT&T Home Base (Z700A)
• ZTE Wireless Home Phone Base (WF723CC)
• AT&T Wireless Internet (MF279)

Same for this support Q&A:

However .... The WF723 is known by me and others in these forums to have a problem with disruptive tones that never seemed to get solved.
The other three are combo phone/hotspot devices. I've used an unlocked MF279 on AT&T and T-Mobile without problems. The IFWA-40 looks to be very similar to the MF279 and came out after the ZTE banishment from the USA market. It is the newest and last box of this sort sold by AT&T - around 4? years ago. You might have to log into the box and set the APN if not on AT&T proper. Maybe seek out an unlocked one on eBay to be sure you can use it with other providers. I don't know if a locked one will work on an AT&T MVNO.
Would this work for you?

Visible (by Verizon) receive $20 off the first month. Please use referral code: 36csHv - https://www.visible.com/get/?36csHv
I will be Judged on how I helped the poor, sick & others in need; strangers & loved ones alike.
My plans:
Visible (Verizon) UTTD $25/mo
T-Mobile Gold Rewards $10yr exp 12.25.23
FreedomPop (AT&T) Target $4.99 once 100 TTD a month each 29th
The WF720 is also a 3G device and won't work.
ConsumerCellular appears to still offer the WF723 - not sure if CC uses ATT or TMO these days. I found one Google hit about the weird tones during calls for it specifically. See the several discussions in the StraightTalk thread about the WF723 problem. StraightTalk offers a newer Moxee home base that seems to work fine other than an odd sounding dial tone which turns some people off. ST probably uses Verizon now. Verizon postpaid also offers a "Wireless Home Phone" if that network can work for you.
I have been using the ZTE MF279 on tracfone ATT for 3 years. No problems.
Thanks everyone for all the suggestions.
I have three different Panasonic Bluetooth cordless phone models. The sound quality on the older models is scratchy, especially on the user end. The newer HD models are noticeably better but still not great.

I have tried some of the cordless phones with bluetooth. Some of them connect straight to the handset. Others connect to the base unit of the cordless phones. I tested this with distance.
As for the sound quality, I have found the units that connect to the handset have the best out of the two since the others have to go thru the base unit.
This is just my personal opinion tho.
I still use an older Panasonic phone with my Straight Talk Home Phone device. I know my Panasonic phones had issues with the CDMA only Home Phone device, but since switching to the ZTE VoLTE Home Phone device, I have not seen any issues.
If you want to know the issue with old CDMA device, I was getting an echo or very sensitive speakerphone microphone. The very sensitive speakerphone microphone had my family muting the TV before answering the phone.
Thanks for that info. I have been tempted to buy a new Link2Cell phone system, but it doesn't sound worth it.
I will need something when the Obihai ATA that I use stops working. A cellphone doing VOIP over Wifi with a headset works pretty well so I may have to go to that.
The sound quality of my Panasonic Bluetooth Link2Cell is definitely not acceptable for conversations.
I have also tried the StraightTalk home phone base. It works quite well, but it uses Verizon. The OP was looking for something the works with AT&T. I would also rather not pay them $15 a month when I can use Google Voice for free.
