I got one as a HSN bundle a few months ago for $100. It unlocked after 60 days with no problem.
I like the phone for its price range. The stylus is handy at times to take a quick hand written note.
I have not seen anything about 5G that is impressive. That may just be how much 5G is deployed where I am. When I get 5G it is slower than LTE, like only 2Mbps.
Unlocked it works on Visible, except that the hotspot did not get unlocked and doesn't work.
Be aware this is a big and heavy phone.

Since the bundle comes with phone service state and local taxes and fees apply. QVC tax may be correct. In any case, I agree. I would not spend time with customer service for $1. I have time. I just don't need the aggravation.

Yes TMO should be fine, at least for LTE RF compatibility.
Need to investigate specific 5G service bands, cheap phones are usually optimized for the one carrier MNO.
If you know you want TMO ultimately, MVNOs like gFi are better sources for subsidized hardware

Should be fine, as with nearly any modern device designed for the VZW network.
If it does not pass their IMEI checker, just use a phine that does to activate the SIM
then move the SIM over to the Moto.
Not sure about getting UW but if it does try the cheap plan, you may not need Plus to overcome depri issues

I had this exact phone on the old Visible plan. When I upgraded to the new Visible plan, talk, text and data worked but not WIFI calling, hotspot or visual voice mail.
